Kayla + Sean have booked me for their wedding in Nov 2021, in the meantime we headed to The Watagans for their engagement shoot, with a little stop at their home first to get some snaps of their babies, two beautiful cats named Gandalf & Boromir.

Kayla & Sean were a dream to photograph, so sweet and affectionate, so in love, so happy to be together.
From the moment I met Kayla & Sean we clicked, they were so easy to talk to, so down to earth. Sean was just as invested in our first meeting as Kayla was, so I wanted to make things a little special for them.

Leading up to the shoot I delved deep into their lives by contacting their closest friends and family and asked them to help make it special. 10 of their nearest and dearest put pen to paper and wrote a little something for them to read out aloud together at their shoot, a nice surprise. Some of their family opted for beautiful memories from their childhood, Seans sister had an impressive list of hilarious memories growing up with Sean, full of tricks they had played on their dad. Seans friends, not ones to disappoint, let some insane stories out of the bag, I wasn't the least bit surprised hearing them about Sean. (I'll take these to my grave Sean, promise)

Kaylas friends reminisced about fun times spent together, how hard it's been not seeing each other during COVID and how proud they are of the beautiful woman she has become. Each of their parents shared how happy they are to welcome the other into their family, how perfect they are for each other and how much peace and joy each has brought to the others lives.

We all cried and laughed as the memories and letters were read out (I'd gotten most of my tears out while I was compiling all the letters, MOST!) but Kayla & Seans reactions to the surprise emptied the well.

I'm so grateful to be a part of their journey, enjoy these images of two madly in love, crazy kids...
