Where the hell do I start?!

Tori contacted me a couple of months ago when she and Tim had decided to elope. They wanted a small ceremony at their home with their closest friends and family. Tim & Tor have been together for a long time. They've travelled (a lot), made great memories together, settled into their family home with their two german shepherds (it was meant to be right?) and finally welcomed their beautiful baby boy Oakli into the world. So naturally, they just wanted to be married, minus the frills.

Tori's gals had put together a stunning grazing table and the boys organised a marquee since it looked like the rain was here to stay. Inside the marquee was the same arbour used my Tori's dad t his own wedding a couple of months back, covered in florals by Kenzie Lane Florals.

I arrived half an hour early to check out the beautiful bride, hiding in the lounge room while Tim entertained the early guests out the back. Tori was a dream, and I mean DREAM! Her hair and makeup were executed perfectly by Caitlyn Denny and Denny & Co

Tori was right on time. At 3:30 on the dot she walked down the aisle with her dad, stepdad and son. Tim was standing at the end, crying of course. The ceremony was full of laughs and tears, officiated by Debra Rae Carter, she told the story of how Tim & Tori met, and how their versions differ a little from a hazy memory of too many drinks in a nightclub.

Once the formal bits were over (and a few more tears from Tim) the job was done and it was time to relax. Tim & Tori didn't want to go too far for photos so we snuck out the front for 5 minutes of portraits then it was time to relax. I stuck around for an hour for family photos and some cheese (obviously) then said my goodbyes to leave the happy couple to their party.

Proof that you don't need all the bells & whistles!
